THE STORY BEHIND THE ART
Jake Arrieta came to the Cubs in a little noticed 2013 trade with the Baltimore orioles. In 3+ seasons in Baltimore the right hander was regarded as a talented but erratic pitcher. But with the Cubs, Arrieta became the pitcher he was meant to be, winning the 2015 National Cy Young Award, while posting other worldly numbers. He was the starting and winning pitcher in games two and six of the 2016 World Series.
