Bernie Williams has been the star centerfielder on the Yankees team of the late 90s and early 21st century. Dave Winfield, a power hitting outfielder, got 1300 of his 3110 career hits during his 1981 to 1990 tenure with the team. Outfielder Roy White, was a consistently productive player over his 15 year Yankee career, 1965 to 1979.
